UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

Main Street enjoys an active United Methodist Women group. They are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

  • The Dorcas Circle for mature members of the UMW, and the Faith Circle for younger women, encourage support of children, promote the remembrance of children in the prayer life of the congregation, and organize projects which benefit children.
  • The Angel Circle for young women is active in spiritual growth and social action.
  • All circles meet monthly with combined special meetings throughout the year.
